The project aims to foster gender equality in the Euro-Mediterranean region through media tools. Specifically, the project wants to reduce the gender digital divide in the Euromed and support the involvement of young women employed in the media sector, encouraging the exchange of good practices in the Euromed.

The project will select (open call) and train 20 intermediate beneficiaries (women coming from Italy, France, Malta, Lebanon and Morocco; age: less than 40 years old) in ICT, namely for audiovisual and visual production. Training will be set in Marseilles (first module: theory and techniques) and Malta (second module: on the job). During the training phase, students will develop audiovisual and visual products related to gender issue, to be spread through the region. Showing the media products in a number of selected film festivals and photography exhibitions will increase public awareness of the urgency to destroy gender stereotypes in society.
